Synopsis
Media researcher Muncie Daniels must fight for her innocence and her life after she stumbles upon a murder deep in the Poconos. Colman Domingo’s first leading role on television. After watching 4 episodes, my first thought was that it could have easily been done in 2! And that’s the problem with it. It’s not the acting, the actors or the plot. Someone just decided to drag this out over 8 episodes. This means that the plot is stretched unnecessarily, the story meanders, and sometimes it feels like you’re fast-forwarding 10 minutes to get to the point. As for people giving this 3 stars, it’s really not that bad. Netflix really needs to start realizing that people shouldn’t be drawn to shows that are stretched just to keep it on the platform. And all this is an attempt to keep you going for 8 hours!
