Synopsis

At the end of World War II, Nathan Hilu, the son of Syrian Jewish immigrants in New York, received a life-changing assignment from the U.S. Army: to protect the greatest Nazi war criminals at the Nuremberg Trials. For Nathan, a virtually unknown “outsider artist,” this experience was a lifelong artistic inspiration that kept him busy creating art for the next 70 years.
