Synopsis
In 1980s Indiana, a group of young friends witness supernatural forces and secret government actions. As they search for answers, the kids unravel a series of extraordinary mysteries. Steve Perry, former lead singer of Journey, said that the Stranger Things season 4 remix of Journey’s ’80s hit “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)” was done pretty much the way he originally intended in the ’80s, but lacked the technology. During a number of episodes, you see people “interrupting” someone who is talking on a two-way or CB radio, meaning one person is talking/transmitting and another person transmits to interrupt them, and then the other person hears this interruption and stops transmitting.
Eleven: Friends don’t lie
This has been done a couple of times on kids’ CB radios and on radios used by the police. Those radios, the CB and police radios of the era of the show, don’t work that way. If you’re streaming and someone else is streaming, you won’t hear them. The opening titles and fonts of Stranger Things mimic the film grain and look of 80s TV series opening titles.

Stranger Things (Title Sequence & End Credits Theme) Written by and starring Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein. I didn’t expect this nostalgic TV series to be this good. In my opinion, the technical details of the first season weren’t that fascinating, but not only the plot gets weirder, but all the technical details get weirder. I know the first three seasons were pretty similar in some ways.
Especially for nerds
But season 4 explains that situation. Not all minor things, but it explains the major issues. There are some great references to The Thing, E.T., D&D, Middle Earth and more. These references make the TV series more exciting.
The editing has been perfect since the first season
The cinematography, visual effects and sound have improved in the second season. They were a bit weak in the first season. The makeup, costumes, soundtracks, art direction and production design were pretty good in the first season, they improve a bit over the seasons. Whether they are exploring the stars, escaping dystopias or making the world a better place, these women are what science fiction is about.
